I’m Erica Barnes, the Patient Care Coordinator and a Certified Life Coach at Innerbloom Healing Arts. If you’ve called our clinic, chances are we’ve already spoken! I’m often the first point of contact for new patients, and I love getting to connect with so many incredible individuals. My role includes conducting preliminary intakes to ensure Innerbloom is the right fit, coordinating appointment schedules, supporting both providers and patients, and helping to keep everything running smoothly. I’m also the one behind our monthly Innerbloom newsletter, which I enjoy writing as a way to share insights and updates with our community.
In addition to my administrative role, I offer life coaching to patients who have completed their Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) treatments. Coaching provides a powerful way to build on the momentum gained during KAP by helping clients clarify their goals and adopt new ways of thinking to achieve a fulfilling, balanced life.
I started working in mental health after completing my life coaching certification in October of 2022. Coaching is a powerful approach that helps us identify and be more aware of our current thoughts/beliefs and how they might be affecting our lives, in order to then create the roadmap to where we want to go. Lucky for me, Dr. Tala and I certified in the same life coaching program. When I heard about how comprehensive the treatment at Innerbloom is, and the level of care that Dr. Galindo and the other providers pour into their patients, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
What I enjoy most about my role is hearing patients’ stories and being a part of their journey toward healing. Whether or not someone decides to continue with us, I aim to make every interaction valuable and supportive. I approach every call as if the person on the other end were my own child, offering the care and compassion I would want for my family.

Getting to know Erica
Life Outside The Clinic
Outside of work, you can find me spending time outdoors and playing with my kids, dancing to fun music, or renovating old houses with character. I also love spending time at the beach—whether surfing, journaling, or hunting for shark teeth—and serving in my church and local community. My favorite book is The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom, and my music preferences shift with my mood (thank you, Spotify!).
