I’m Dr. Juan Pablo Galindo, an osteopathic physician and integrative psychiatrist with a deep commitment to understanding and healing the mind-body-soul connection. My journey into psychiatry was shaped by a life-altering sports injury, which introduced me to therapy as a patient and later as a physician. This personal experience, combined with my medical training at ATSU Soma and residency at the University of Louisville, opened my eyes to the profound impact that mental well-being has on physical health.

My path to becoming a psychiatrist was driven by a desire to go beyond treating symptoms and instead understand the whole person—both their internal and external experiences. Early in my medical career, I felt a gap in how we approached patient care. I wanted to know more about my patients' lives, their histories, and the deeper sources of their pain. Psychiatry offered me the opportunity to bridge that gap, and it has since become my passion to help others find healing by integrating all aspects of their health.

In my practice, I specialize in working with high-functioning adults who are struggling with burnout, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, particularly those who have not found relief through traditional psychiatric care. I also have a special interest in supporting former athletes who are grappling with the loss of identity following a sports injury. My approach is integrative and holistic, incorporating traditional and psychedelic medicine, lifestyle coaching, functional lab testing, and more. I am certified in Psychedelic Therapy through CIIS, fully trained and certified in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through the Ketamine Training Center, and a certified prescriber and therapist of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy.

Getting to know Dr. Galindo

Life Outside The Clinic

Outside of my clinical work, I’m a passionate artist and musician. I find joy in creating music, playing the guitar, and expressing myself through painting. Nature is my sanctuary, a place where I can recharge and connect with the world around me. I’m also a father of two young children, an experience that continually teaches me patience and the beauty of seeing the world through their eyes.
